Six sourcing regions across Kashmir & Ladakh
Geography matters. We name our sources because most brands can't. Every region below is somewhere Sabir or Tabish has personally visited.
15km from Srinagar
India's only GI-tagged saffron belt. We source Grade A Mongra directly from Pampore field farmers — not from Srinagar wholesale markets.
Saffron & Kesar4,200m+ altitude
One of the highest-altitude Shilajit sources in the Himalayas. Sabir visits collector families here every harvest season (July–September). Not accessible to most buyers.
Himalayan ShilajitNorth Kashmir
Mamra almond and paper-shell walnut orchards. We source from small orchard-owning families, not wholesale traders. Seasonal harvest, limited supply.
Mamra Almonds · WalnutsSouth-West Kashmir
Wild forest honey from apiaries in the dense Pir Panjal forests. Beekeepers migrate seasonally — Wild Honey and Sidr are strictly single-season harvests.
Honey · Wild HerbsNubra Valley, 3,000m+
Highest-altitude apricot orchards in India. Ladakhi apricots are smaller, sweeter, and denser than Rajasthani varieties. Cold-pressed Apricot kernel oil sourced here.
Apricots · Apricot OilSouth Kashmir
The apple bowl of Kashmir — Ambri, Delicious, American varieties. Also Barberry (Zirish) and seasonal fresh produce. Peak harvest: September–November.

Questions
Frequently asked about Kashmir sourcing
What can Nutkash source from Kashmir beyond your standard products?
We source across eight categories: saffron and spices (GI-tagged Pampore Mongra), dry fruits and nuts, honey and preserves, wellness herbs and Shilajit, cold-pressed oils, handicrafts and Pashmina textiles, fresh seasonal produce, and custom gift hampers. Custom sourcing covers specific grades, rare varieties, bulk quantities, and products outside our standard catalogue. If we can't get it, we tell you honestly.
Can I order Kashmiri products in bulk for a wedding?
Yes — wedding bulk orders are one of our most common requests. We handle bulk Kashmiri dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, apricots), Pampore saffron, and custom return gift boxes. Bulk pricing starts from 2kg for dry fruits and 100g for saffron. We can also assemble custom wedding hampers with personalised packaging. Share your requirements and we'll quote within 24 hours.
Do you ship custom Kashmiri orders internationally?
Yes. We ship to the UK, USA, Canada, UAE, and Australia. Dry products — saffron, dry fruits, sealed honey jars — typically clear customs without issues. Fresh produce cannot ship internationally. Contact us to confirm timelines and destination-specific requirements before placing a large international order.
How long does custom sourcing from Kashmir take?
We reply to every request within 24 hours with an honest availability answer. Once you approve the quote, standard sourcing and dispatch takes 3–7 days. Rare items, seasonal produce, or large bulk orders may take 10–14 days. We give an honest timeline upfront — we don't promise delivery windows we can't keep.
Can you source Kashmiri handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, or textiles?
Yes. We have connections with artisan families in Srinagar's old city, Kanihama (Kani weave), and Shupyan (Sozni embroidery). We source Pashmina shawls, Kani weaves, Khatamband woodwork, and paper mache — directly from the artisan. Unlike tourist-market sourcing, you know exactly who made your piece.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom Kashmir sourcing?
No minimum for individual buyers — if you want 50g of a specific saffron grade or a single artisan piece, we'll source it. Bulk pricing applies from 2kg+ for dry fruits, 100g+ for saffron, and 10 units+ for custom hampers. B2B orders are negotiated on volume. We don't impose minimums that don't make logistical sense.
Can you supply Kashmiri saffron and ingredients to restaurants and hotels?
Yes. We supply restaurants and hotels across India. Common orders include Grade A Mongra saffron for kitchens, Kashmiri walnut and apricot oil for chefs, bulk Kashmiri spice mixes, and artisan honeys. GST-compliant invoices provided. Regular supply schedules available — share your monthly volume requirements and we'll structure pricing accordingly.
Do you offer white-label or branded packaging for B2B buyers?
Yes. We supply food brands, wellness companies, and importers who want authentic Kashmir-origin ingredients under their own brand. We supply the product with origin documentation, lab test reports, and FSSAI compliance — you handle final brand packaging. Custom Nutkash-branded packaging is available for corporate gifting orders of 10 units or more.
How do I know the products are authentically from Kashmir?
We're from Srinagar — Sabir and Tabish are Kashmiri by birth. Our family and community connections are in the valley. We name our sources: Pampore for saffron, Paddar (Kishtwar) for Shilajit, Kupwara for almonds, Turtuk for apricots. For lab-tested products, we share NABL-certified reports on request. We don't broker or repackage — we source direct and you know exactly where it came from.
Is there a sourcing fee or commission?
No sourcing fee. We earn on the product margin, not on your inquiry. We quote the total price inclusive of sourcing, quality check, and shipping. If we can't source what you need, we tell you — and you owe nothing. No deposits for standard consumer orders.
