Cold-Pressed Ladakhi Apricot Oil | 200ml
Cold-Pressed Apricot Kernel Oil · Ladakh
Cold-pressed from Ladakhi apricots at altitude. The lightest oil we make — absorbs in 5 minutes, no residue.
Cold pressed from Ladakhi apricot kernels grown at altitude in Leh, Kargil, and Nubra — light golden, mild scent, absorbs in under 5 minutes with no residue. Works on all skin types including sensitive skin. Two drops on damp skin, morning and night — rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids.
Absorbs fully in under 5 minutes without any residue. The traditional Ladakhi face oil — used in dry, high-altitude climates where skin needs real moisture.
Oleic acid replenishes the skin barrier that breaks down with age and sun exposure. Regular use helps the skin hold moisture longer between applications.
Non-comedogenic and cold-pressed — won't block pores or leave residue. Gentle for sensitive skin, consistent with traditional Ladakhi use in some of India's harshest climates.
2 drops worked through dry ends adds shine and tames frizz without weight. The lightest oil we make — absorbs in seconds.
What it does
Absorbs clean — suitable for all skin types
- Sinks into skin within 4–5 minutes. No greasy film.
- Works on oily, dry, and combination skin. Won't clog pores.
- The healthy fats in this oil help keep your skin's moisture barrier strong.
Light enough for the skin around your eyes
- The skin around your eyes is thin and needs a light oil. This is it.
- Heavier oils can clog the tiny pores around your eyes over time. Apricot oil is light enough that this is much less likely.
- Use every night to help with dryness and the look of dark circles.
Leave-in on ends — the lightest finishing touch for frizz and shine.
- A few drops on dry hair ends prevents split ends and frizz.
- Light enough to leave in without weighing hair down.
- Not for scalp or roots — use almond oil for intensive hair treatments.
The lightest oil for the most reactive skin.
- Non-comedogenic rating of 2 — meaning it does not clog pores and is safe for acne-prone skin. Most heavier oils (coconut, almond) sit at 4–5 on this scale and can trigger breakouts.
- Its lightweight oleic and linoleic acid profile makes it suitable for many skin types, including combination and sensitive skin.
- Generally considered gentle for many skin types. Apricot kernel oil has been traditionally used in Ladakh for generations, including for children's skin in extreme dry climates.

3 drops on the inner wrist. Gone in under 5 minutes. No residue, no heaviness. Cold-pressed apricot kernel oil absorbs the way your skin is designed to receive oil — fully.
Skin around the eyes may feel more hydrated with regular use. Apply 1 drop each night consistently.
Skin that receives consistent daily oil holds moisture more effectively over months. Hair ends regularly treated may appear smoother and more conditioned over the same period.

How to use it
Pat dry but leave your skin slightly damp. Dampness helps draw the oil in.
Rub between palms, press into skin. Don't rub. Best used at night on face.
Pat softly around the eye. Never pull or drag. Light enough to use here without clogging pores.
Apricot oil has a smoke point of ~216°C — suitable for light sautéing, salad dressings, and drizzling over food. Used in traditional Ladakhi cooking for centuries. A mild nutty flavour that doesn't overpower. Do not use for deep frying.
The absorption test
Put 3 drops on your inner wrist. Rub gently. Check after 5 minutes. If it sinks in fully, it's pure cold-pressed oil. Refined oils leave a greasy film.
